How do I apply for an Professional Development Workshop? 
Applications for any upcoming workshops may be found on our website at:
http://prodev.diplomacy.edu/apply.asp
Applications may also be downloaded in Word Document or PDF formats and sent by email on workshop@diplomacy.edu or alternatively send it by Fax: +356 21 315 574
We will confirm applications once they are received.

What are the terms of payment?
Full Payment is to be made within 7 days of the date of invoice. (Late applications are required to pay within 2 days of invoice) 

What are the payment methods?
A number of payments are available including by: PayPal, Bank Transfer, Bank Draft, Credit Card, Western Union.
Full details of payment methods will be sent to you together with an invoice once application is received and confirmed.

Can I cancel my registration? 
Registrations may be cancelled up to 2 weeks before the workshop and will receive a 100% refund (less any bank charges). Cancellations less than 2 weeks before will incur a 100 Euro administration cost. 
Alternatively you may choose to substitute your registration for a future workshop. (Differences in workshop fees may vary slightly)

Can workshops be cancelled? 
Workshops may be cancelled due to a low number of applicants. In this unlikely event a full refund will be granted or alternatively you may opt to take any other future workshop at no extra charge.


> Travel 

Are travel costs covered in the workshop fees? 
Travel costs are to be covered by the participants and are not included in the workshop fees.

Are travel arrangements organised by DiploFoundation?
Participants must take care of all travel arrangements to Malta.

Are hotel reservations organised by DiploFoundation? 
Hotel reservations and bookings are arranged by DiploFoundation and are included in the workshop fees.
 
Will I need a VISA to travel to Malta?
You may need a visa to enter Malta. Visas may be obtained abroad at your nearest Maltese embassy or consulate or at Austrian or Italian embassies in countries where there is no Maltese embassy. More information on visa requirements for Malta can be found on the website of the Maltese Ministry of Foreign Affairs. Please note that conference organisers cannot assist with the process of obtaining a visa – this must be done at your local Maltese, Austrian or Italian embassy. We can issue invitation letters to assist the process. It may take some time to process the visa request, so we advise you not to leave this to the last minute. 

 
> Other important questions

At what time do the workshops start and finish each day?
Workshop days usually start at 09:30 and end at 17:30
 
Will any free time be allocated during the workshops?
At least one free evening is allocated during the duration of the workshop.
 
Is it required to study in the evening for the previous day?
No required studying is requested in the evening. This is entirely up to you. Some lecturers my assign some limited reading material for the next day.
 
How far is the hotel from the commercial centers?
The hotel and workshop venue is located only a few minutes walk from the commercial center in the area. A twenty minute bus ride can also take you to the capital, Valletta.
